Hello, I’m Walter Romero Gonzalez, founder of Peruanizate and a culinary artist born in Huacho, the legendary “City of the Witches” in Peru. Peruanizate was born in Santiago de Chile, during a time of reinvention and bold dreams, not just as a brand, but as a movement to bring authentic Peruvian flavors to new places and new hearts.

My journey didn’t begin in a recipe book, but in the heat of real kitchens, where I discovered my passion in 1999. My mentor, Marisa Guiulfo, taught me that Peruvian cuisine isn’t just about seasoning, it’s about emotion. Over the years, my knife and my heart have traveled from Buenos Aires to Quito, from my own café in Peru to teaching in Chile, always carrying with me the magic of Peruvian food.

After five years of absorbing new cultures and flavors in the United States, my dream returned stronger than ever. Today, Peruanizate is the result of 21 years of travel, learning, and culinary devotion, a brand created to help you rediscover the authentic flavors of childhood, the ones you thought were lost in time.

Every pouch, every meal, is my soul served at your table. This is my invitation to share and celebrate the real Peru, wherever you are.
